Kicker hs10 line in question:

The high freq line in on the harness has a left and a right and the instructions on the site say I can run them from either the front or the back full range 6.5 signal….yes.

But, why is there a stereo set up going in when the amp will become a mono output?

Why can’t I either daisy both of the in lines together on one speaker to get the on off and signal, or why can’t I just use in line in?

Does it require a left and right in? And why?

Today's music is recorded in stereo. If you use only one side, you will only get half the output resulting in lower bass output and at times half the program material.
You can just use line in if your radio has line out. The high input is for those whom wish to use the OEM radio. That way they can just splice into the speakers instead of pulling out the radio.

Thanks. That was my ending thought as well but didn’t think of it! Thats why I’m just an ole boy and not a programmer! Thanks for the reply! I’ll just run the standard line in off left and right and call it good! Thanks again.
