Kicker Solo X 18

A solox 18" Is extremly power hungry and really not for daily driving. It could get REALLY loud, but you would need alot more power, and it wouldn't sound that good. It should cream L7s though, if you give it more juice

I really don't think you quite understand what a solo x is. It is an all out SPL monster. It has an RMS rating of 5000 watts and a peak of 10,000 watts. It would require 4 of the 1200.1 KX amps. Besides that they retail at about $1500.00 bucks each.

Agreed. Any ideas on when the Kicker SoloX 10 and 12 will be coming out. How do they stand up? Heard they're pretty powerful.

i'd say 800+ to get it to where it would start to move decent......but that would just be //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/boring.gif.42c69fa49b1e73e6332d62b462a2a4b3.gif

Ive gathered a few things about it so far:

1. Noone has one

2. Noone has heard one

3. Takes loads of power

4. You think a 200amp alternator will suffice?

5. HUGE box

6. Multiple amps or Harrison Labs to really get it moving

7. Godly expense

8. Ment for SPL only

9. Kids buying them thinking they will be able to power it

10. Its square

Are you referring to the 18" or the 12"?

Assuming the title does say Kicker Solo X 18...
Im with Tommy on this one, 12" or 18", they arent made for music.

Yes, but the topic was somewhat changed to the 10 and 12in version. The 10's and 12's seem like pretty good subs, how would they be any powerful than 2 15's? or 4 12's?

Still can't use them for daily driving. Just because they are 10"s and 12"s doesn't mean they are made for music. Look the the RE MT 12", purely SPL.
