i have a kicker 1200.1 amp so power and ohms is not a prob

if your looking for spl i would go with the hx2's in a 2.0 cubic ft. box, they would sound a lil bit cleaner and louder than the L5's

Why not go wtih two 12L7's instead of L5's over the Hx2's?

From now one please state what kind of hx2s they are. There are Punch and Power hx2s. The Power hx2 will hit harder than the L5.
