New to the car audio world,use some help

Hello

My name is tim and im 16 and was very lucky to get a 2000 v6 mustang(it was not cheap). After the cluth flying out the car(Long story), I decied I wanted it to look good instead of going fast because I could enjoy it more. Im an autobody trade student where i live so i think i have little experience some wire work just because replaceing connectors and plugs and some stuff. But the thing is i know little or nothing about car audio or any type of audio(also scared of wiring into certain things so i kill my wiring harness). I know what speaks do and what i need for a clean and safe setup and everything. But besides that im tottaly lost, I went to tweeter because i wanted a smiple clean upgrade. Im getting bostons 6x9 for my rear and 5x5 bostons for the front and Eclipse head unit,I think it would be small but clean setup for my 1st time getting a system and i could always upgrade. But after seeing some of the work that was done at tweeter and the guy put on the Subwoofers in the booth i just got pulled into it, like almost a drug. I would like to know alot more about car audio. Like what dose porting mean or stuff like that.is their a site that i could go to show me some stuff but also show me which gauge wire to use for setups and why a 2 amps is not always better then one or visa versa. Im just trying to figure out much as i can befor i open my mouth and look stupid but also be smart and make the right decision

let me tell you car audio is a drug. I got pulled into it about a year ago, and i am addicted to it. Spent alot on it so far as well.

yup car audio ****** all my money I had saved up to make a down payment on a car I wanted but hey at least im bumpin. And it is very addicting
