hello, am tryin to learn about enclosure buildin n stuff,

can some one tell me what do they mean exactly by "PORT LENGHT".

i got this idea , that its how long it is , from its begining until its end .

is that right ?

thnx for help

It's sort of self explanatory in the 'port length' part. Its the length of your port front to back(assuming its on the front). But it is also part of a bigger equation of tuning. I use a port calc to do everythign for me, saves alot of time.

do the math yourself, most trustworthy. there are alot of online calculators that people argue are not quite correct.
