My friend has a ~95 Camero and he would like to put a sub in it. I have already advised him to get the cdt cl-61's and a db dbrive a290 90x2 at 4 ohms amp.

It the Se a good all around woofer. He will most likely power it with 300 or 600 watts rms at 2 ohms. Should we go ported if we have the space?

I need opinions on the RE Se!!! I have never heard an re woofer.

That sounds like a good choice with 600 rms. Definitely go ported, tune it low since you probably won't compete with it.

I never heard one till I got my 2 HC 15's. I love them soo much. I take the advice of most people on this forum very seriously especially after they recommended RE to me and it was a success !!!

theyr great subs. cant really be beat for the price. definetly port and try to send it at least 400 watts.

what size do you plan on getting? I would tune the port to around 30hz to reinforce the low-end. The low-end on the SE isn't as strong as say the HC, but it'll be nice to have. 1 RE SE 10" in a 1.25ft^3 box tuned to 30hz with 600 watts will be very nice in that car. I used to have 2 SE 10's with 1400watts on the pair and it was loud.

Space is very limited. We might only get like .7 cubes sealed on a 12" but power it with 600 watts.
