I just got my RS3.5 remote for my old RS3 but cant program the **** thing. The valet switch is plugged in the blue port Ive read the directions but i cant get the led to flash once for channel 1. any ideas?

If the valet switch is the plain black round button type, I have had seen quite a few of them stop working.

Just strip back a little bit of each wire and use a paperclip or something metal to directly connect the two wire (thats all the valet switch does is short the two wires together every time you press it)

Try programing the alarm that way.
