if you play with the wires, that's raising the output of your subs...

i don't think anysort of wiring would raise the handling capacity of a speaker... your AMPS would hit harder, I should think....

Ok, be easy on me, this is all just my 2 cents....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

As I understand it.. your amp puts out more power at 2 ohm than at 4 (in general, not all amps do this).. but it has to be 2 ohm stable or it will shutdown or melt.. since you get more power from 2 ohm, your subs will be getting more power (and hitting harder, unless they blow)..

The amp will run hotter as well.. just so you know..

so i have a rockford 250.2 and it says its 62.5 watts at 4 ohms 125 watts at 2 ohms does this mean its 2 ohm stable if it says how much power it is running at 2 ohms?

yes, it is 2 ohm (stereo) stable...

if you ran 2 channels (i.e. two speakers linked to the left and right terminals), that'd be 125watts to EACH channel...

hmm, if it was 2 ohm mono stable, then you'd have about 250watts in one channel...

tell you what, why not got o RF's webiste, go to RFtech and library archive...

get your user's manual... it's stated specifically what yor amps can handle...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That's how I found ALL my RF product manuals again~

Most likely your ground. I've seen that happen, the sub looks like it's playing a 5 Hz note. If one piece of equipment doesn't have a good ground...

2x 4 ohm coils can be wired parallel to 2 ohms or series to 8 ohms. There's many amps with 2 ohm power you can use.

Is that a car show? Wow. Too much ground loops. The magnetic field may interfere with frequencies going to the antenna. Or you just need a...
