Sub rattling at high volume

I have a JL w7 10 and when I turn it up it makes a really loud rattling noise. When it is at a low volume it sounds fine. Is it maybe tinsel lead or something? Or is the sub about to blow.. Someone help me out

Anyone? It's a very loud sound that I can't really explain. Just really rattly/boomy..

Also I took it out of the box and played it and the sound seems to be coming from the back of the sub/magnet..

you have probley driven the sub past its limits and eather damaged the triple joint or the streched the spider...

dont think ur bottoming out but the vc former hitting the pole...

I really like your set up (your 4 dub 7s) used to have 4 12s

That's not actually my setup lol I only have one right now

oh haha well dang looks nice though but good luck with the sub i know you can send it to jl but probably be a pretty penny to have thme fix it

I did. The sound is coming towards the back of the sub. can't tell exactly where tho
