Sub Setup for System with CDT CL-6X and CL61A's

I'm running CDT CL61A's (front) and CL-6X (rear) with a sound stream 4220 amp 110WRMS at 4 Ohm running those two pairs of speakers.

My question. Can I go with a sub system with:

SOUNDSTREAM RUB300-2 RUBICON II 2CH 300W Amplifier

300RMS at 4ohm mono

I want to power ONE 12 inch Phoenix Gold Titanium at 350 WRMS/700 peak

Please let me know if this would overpower it or if I shoud get a different value priced amp for this setup.

I believe the rms for the 12Ti is 500... not 350. I may be wrong. If it is then you will be okay. Is this the DVC one? Or SVC 4.

Ok here's the system I've decided to go with:

JBL BP300.1 (I like that its a class D amp) and a single Phoenix Gold TI10D set up at 2 ohms so it has 300rms but I've heard the JBL underrated this bad boy so this system should be good to go.

I'm looking for some good SQ.

I've heard a few phoenix gold woofers and they sound pretty good. Should be a good setup for the money.

One question: I have a JVC H/U without a sub control on it.

Should I purchase a new H/U or get a stand alone sub control?

Does anybody have budget recommendations for either one.

as long it has preamp outputs you will be fine unless you really wanted a sub control.

i have the same components/coaxes run off my h/u and 2 10" pg ti's with a jbl 600.1 and i love it. the 12" is 500 watts rms the 10 is 450.
