hey guys i just registered to the site. Ive been lurking for a while and decided I am going to start a system in my truck. This is what I had In mind. its going to be a Pioneer system. Tell me what you think. Forgot, its an extended cab.

HU:

Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD Touchscreen

Components:

Pioneer Premier TS-A502c 5.25 set x2

Component Amps:

Pioneer GM-6400F 600w 4 ch

Subs:

(4) Pioneer Premier TS-W127D2

Sub Amps:

Pioneer GM-D8400M, 1200w mono (2)

Me and my brother are going to be doing the build. When we get started I will get some pics. Kind of still in the researching process. Just want some advice on what kind and how many batteries will i need for this set up. Going to be doing a ported box, glassed door pods. going to try to face the subs up, maybe the ports too. should we go with slotted or aero's. Im all ears thanx. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

as for a budget on the subs i can get these 4 for right at 300. not strictly spl but high 140's but some really nice natural crisp mids and hi's. keep em coming

I would also recommend checking all the amps wiring to make sure secured/ tight and ground is solid and remote making solid contact in the terminal

160AH lithium that supports a 12K system is pretty lofty! I've seen dual 24's or quad 12's that will do this. Most of what 've run across is dual...

The Kappa's have a high sensitivity rating of 93 db so the X802-5 would be fine. A good high sensitivity 8" sub in a properly sized box would fit...
