ok...me and a local shop are kinda turning my car into a show car, and we plan on goin crazy with the install but of course my budget is somewhat tight seeing how slow my money comes... im goin with 8's 5.25's and tweets in the doors ....i was planning on going for jl's xr line and 8w0's but i was wondering if it would be worth taing it a few notches down, buying not-so-decent components and spending the saved money on more fiberglass....seeing as im going to need a lot...then later in a few months or so after the glassing is done just go ahead and buy the xr stuff (or if i have the dough/tolerance to listen to the crap speakers for a while then dynaudio or ads)....let me know what u guys think i should do...

You can make even "crappy" speakers sound pretty good if they are tuned right. I would just go with the bare essentials (cheap) cause they still sound alright for now. If you have the patience to save for DYN or Focal then I would defenitley do it. Thats what I've been doing for 5 years now,lol, and just started purchasing better equip for the competition season coming up.
