Warm-up Time

Hey, does anybody else need to warm there subs up to get them to sound right. Like here in MA its been in the 20-30s in the morning and when i start my car i can heard one of my subs just sounding like poo. after about an hour of playing it starts sounding real nice like im used to. Yeah, in the middle of the winter when they've been out in the 10 degree weather all night I've noticed they act a little strange, so I usually didn't push them too much.

Could possibly be the amp too? Not sure.

Cold weather will make the spider, surround, tensils and such stiff causing it to loose efficiancy untill it gets a little warm and loosens up

also, the amp has to warm it's circuitry up to get full power flow.

yeah, need to let the car warm up, its probably like a car, needs to get warm in order to run well.

During the winter time I noticed this too. After about 3-5 mintues of low volume listening they sound fine.

Oh i love em...they get hella deep when properly warmed up in my sealed box.
