Please elaberate. I curious about horns myself. I have never heard a set and everyone says how good they are. Good at what? SQ, imaging, what?

from what I've gathered from users is that Midrange/highs are unparalleled in comparo to conventional tweets in terms of output

Plus it pushes the crossover point down out of the critical midrange region, so that they are played by a single point source. Horns will play the entire frequency range ~1khz and up.

Oh yeah...and, while their efficiency and output is nice, it also causes problems matching them up to mids. You either need very stout midbass drivers, or you need to choke the horn down a TON to level match them properly.

i had to do the latter

my ears are now ringing cuz i did a preliminary install and tested em out for a bit.
