which amp

I just got 2 kicker cvr 15" and I am looking to upgrade an amp. I want to push around 1000-1400 watts of power to them. what is a good amp. they are dual 2 ohms. also, what does a capacitor do and how do you hook one up. would you recommend one. the amps I was thinking about were the JBL 1200.1 or a power acoustik or possibly the phoenix gold tantrum1200. any suggestion/comments would help.
