Wiring Amp

Question??? I amp wiring my amp in my trcuk. Everything goes fine, until I check it out. I hook up the remote line with a switch in it. Starts fine, cuts off switch, and amp cuts off. I cut it back on, but the protector light on my amp is on, and no music. I take the switch out, for troubleshooting. I connect the wires, same thing. I take em apart, and put em back together. The light comes on again, with no sound. HELP....Is it the remote line, ground, or what???

since i don't know what car, what amp, what subs, or wiring gauge you two are using, i would just guess and say, double-check your grounds.

check your wiring again, and make sure you're not sending an incorrect load to your amp. what ohms is your amp stable at, and what ohm-load are you presenting it with?
