wiring in a system

Check out the RMS of the subs and the amp at the ohms that your subs can handle. If they match up well then you should be alright with that set up. Capacitors just store voltage that the amp may need but are not always necessary. An extra battery is definitly a waste of money for the system that you have in mind.
