wiring in a system

i was just wondering what would be the best way to put in two 12" speakers. 1000watts a piece with 2000 watt amp. i don't know much about compaciters, and i was wondering if i would have to place an extra battery in or would that be my best choice?

Check out the RMS of the subs and the amp at the ohms that your subs can handle. If they match up well then you should be alright with that set up. Capacitors just store voltage that the amp may need but are not always necessary. An extra battery is definitly a waste of money for the system that you have in mind.
