Got it to work guys! On the 03 gmc sierra the red ignition wire on the facotry harness has no power running to it. You must get it from another source. Like the fat white wire under the steering wheel. Its working fine and dandy, thx everyone for helping!

I installed 2 12s and an amp in my 1998 ford ranger, everything is soldered and hooked up, tested power and ground they are good and the amp turns...

Figured it out. For some reason my rca cables would work in everything but the new head unit. I quickly tried a spare set, and that fixed the problem.
