Around $700 US for my 33KX (Retail is right around $1000 US)

I've run Quarts for years and have a set right now. My next upgrade will be to the Focal K2Power components. They sound incredible.

I really like the amp and cap mounted on the rear deck. That will never get stolen. I also think I'm stealing the tin foil idea for my install, have to run to Sam's Club first.

I had a weird issue with Crutchfield's fitment as well. They said my Alpine 9855 would not fit due to a depth issue. I bought it anyway and figured I'd make it fit somehow. When I took the stock radio out there was a freakin' cavern behind it, I could have mounted 2 of the CD players back there.

I'm about to install one at 1 ohm. The sales guy I deal with runs one with my same setup (Single Focal 33KX) and was pulling 900 watts.

My Alpine CDA-9855 has a bunch of color options, I Know one of them is red, I'm sure it had orange too. And the face is black.

I used it on mine to set up the greeting message, but that's about it so far. Will probably mess with Time Correction and other settings after the system is all in.

I also have a 9855 and the GlideTouch was a little sketchy at first, but once you get used to it, it's pretty sweet. I have grown to like it and have found it's easy to use while driving.

I think the older Zapcos were phenomenal. I ran two Zapcos ( a Z100C2 and a Z50C2) for close to 8 years in three different vehicles. You could beat the amps to death and they still sounded great. I ran the Z100 at a 1 ohm load for my subs and the only problem was it very occasionally...

That does for me too. I was there at the IASCA finals that year in South Carolina. They had it housed in what looked like a UPS truck. It was up against the Gates Bronco and when they hit it, it sounded like something blew up. Gates still won in the end but it was pretty sick. I have pics...

I was loyal to MB Quart for years, but I have to say that Focal blew me away. My next upgrade will be losing my Quart components and switching to the Focal K2Power set. I vote for Focal

I've always run 8 gauge to my amps after being split from a larger gauge (2 gauge on my last setup) and never had an issue. This is the block that I'm running right now : The larger gauge goes in one side, then through the fuses, then 2 8 gauge come out the other side.
