Yeah i ended up figuring out that the head unit I have (sony) has rear sub as the back rca outputs so not much I can do outside of adjusting subwoofer settings in the HU.

My settings on my HU are all at normal nothing changed with the HPF or LPF. My amp is just set for normal frequencies no bass boost or anything. I have my gain lower then the normal and the front speakers start popping at 4/5 max volume.

I just installed a 60 watt rms x4 pioneer amp and my 60 watt rms kicker speakers keep popping at louder volumes

I just hooked up an amp, previously all the speakers played music at a normal level coming from the head unit. With the amp the rear speakers only play bass, everything else is very quiet. Is this normal? I tried making sure nothing was reversed and such.

So I have an aftermarket sony reciever with RCA plug ins. I have had the speakers connections crimped to the the wires that plugin to the reciever. Now I just got a new amp and will be using the RCA cables, I wanted to know if I could leave the speaker connected since I still need the power...

I have hooked up the red, yellow, and black wires up to my sony head unit. When I turn on my car the only thing that happens is the CD changer spins, not lights on the radio and it doesn't send out a bluetooth signal
