Send him a video of yours functioning, without protect light, and ask him to do the same?

Hook it up and make sure it works, that's the best thing... and don't let him hook up yours, do it yourself, unless you know he knows what he's doing....

Do you have a link to the distro block you have? Type, model, brand and so on....

Current = amps.... Put an 80 in that ditsro (as long as its rated for it) and bump that Bish.

Do you have an under hood fuse, less than 18" from battery? If so, what rating is that? As long as ur distro block is rated for it, I would increase that fuse to 80. Should solve your issue....

Any other amps connected to the distro, or are you just using that as a reducer?

Nm... I just saw at the bottom of the 1st page... anyhow, what size fuses are on the actual amp? 1 gauge (does that even exist?) Should have a much larger fuse then 60... the fuses on your wiring, are for the wiring and vehicle itself, not the amp... as shizzon stated, its all speculation, and...

He's talking about his under hood fuse, and how his wire size may be too "big".... I think.... What gauge wire are you running, and is it the under hood fuse, or the amp fuse?

What I meant, was if the amp pulls say 800 watts, and the fuse will only support 720 (60amps x 12volts), then the fuse will blow....

Its pulling more power then the fuse can support?
