pyle academy amps may put out a little more power then the chopper amp your looking at. and they are 1 ohm stable. but I'm sure they are still over rated. .
when I was 16 and didn't have a job my mom agreed to buy me a pyramid cd player for 40 dollars. it worked but within 6 months it was having problems ejecting cd's. I also used a pyramid 1600 watt amp to power a pair of type r 12's. it made decent power for 80 dollars and I used it for a year...
that thing probably does 1000+ watts rms judging by the size of it. my friend has the 1100x1 amp that looks just like it. they rock especially for 60 bucks.

I think that I will probably need a second battery or a large capicitor for my system. I'm using a 1500 watt phoenix gold amp for my sub and an 800 watt visonik 4 channel amp for my speakers. My vehicle is a ford ranger and it has a stock 97 amp alternator. I don't know if I should use a second...
I'm buying a 5 channel hifonics amp. the most it can put out for power on it's 5th channel is 300 rms. which sub would sound better in a 1.2 sealed enclosure...would the SR be the better choice or the SE?
