ok i'm going with the JBL ms-52c and not the ms-62c because of fitment issues with my car (2001 honda civic dx coupe). The ms-52c's are just as good as the ms-62c's right? and the only difference being they don't go quite as low on the frequency range?

ok, i understand the JBL's sound better than the alpines and the id's, but which out of the 2 I originally asked about would sound better? Alpine type r components (spr 50c, spr 60) or Image Dynamics ctx65cs components?

i'm looking for some good sounding speakers for the front doors of my 01 civic coupe dx. these speakers are roughly the same price- $159 for the ID's and $150 for the Alpine components. the alpine type r component speakers are Alpine's high end comps, while the ctx 65cs is not Image Dynamics...

can anyone answer these questions and would you suggest a new Arc sub or a IDQ v3 and why?

anybody know why the IDQ10 has a lower Fs than the IDQ12? are the new Arc subs still the same as their older ones? (are they still modeled after the IDQ v2, or are they now modeled after the IDQ v3?) why do people prefer IDQ v2 over v3?

i am considering buying an image dynamics idq10d2v3 or idq12d2v3. would the 10" or 12" be better? their specs say that the 10" has a lower Fs than the 12". does that mean the 10" will hit lower notes better? also, how is the Arc10D2 or Arc12D2 compared to the IDQ10 and IDQ12 subs. is it true...

is it good quality and sound quality oriented? or are they just new cheap junk? i noticed that it can play 16hz frequencies. are the ratings accurate? what other sq subs can play super low frequencies like that?

ya i checked out image dynamics. they seem pretty good. how good is the ctx124 sub? does it really play 16hz frequencies? are there any other subs out there that play really low frequencies like that?

why do you consider the infinity the best of the 3? oh, i'm sort of on a budget too, just want a sq setup but don't want to spend mega $, needs to be reasonably priced. also, does the 3hz that the pioneer plays lower make much of a difference?

oh also this sub- Pioneer TS-W309S4. how good is it compared to the others? it has the lowest minimum rated frequency (20hz), the jl audio is rated at 22hz minimum, and the infinity is rated at 23hz minimum. will either of these subs actually push out notes that low?

any opinions on which one is better and why? i am looking for a high sound quality setup with tight, punchy bass that plays very accurately. i'm not worried about extreme loudness. which would have better sound quality? i noticed the infinity 1260w has a louder decibel rating and a lower...

ok so if i give each door speaker 80 watts while my sub is pushing 300 watts, is my sub going to drown out the music with too much bass? i am just looking for a high sound quality, balanced setup- not extreme loudness.
