10" Fi.Q w/ PDX1000 vs IDQ10V3 w/ AQ 1200D?

So I'm basically going for a SQL setup (SQ L=loud?) where a nice sound quality is important for mostly rock, screamo, emo, trance, pop, a little rap (I like the Acura ELS w/ 8" woofer systems) but it needs to be able to get loud over my medium loud exhaust.

I have an ALpine 9815 HU, and I'm almost 100% I"m getting:

Rainbow SLC 265.... but possibly CDT ES 61-FG or CDT ES-610 with an Alpine 4.150 or Alpine 4.100 or refurb Sundown 100.4 running to them (which amp do you guys recommend for the comps?)

But I'm not sure what to get between:

1) 10" Fi.Q w/ PDX1000

or

2) IDQ10V3 w/ AudioQue 1200D or PDX1000 or refurb Sundown 1000.1

(Which amp if I choose to go with the IDQ10?)

Looks are a plus (show car)!

I would go with one of the Alpine amps over the refurb Sundown. Not sure which one but match up the output power with the handling power of the comps and you will be good.

For the sub, the FI Q/Alpine setup is better. The IDQ can only rated for 600 RMS so that AQ amp at 1200 watts is going to be too much for it. The FI is rated at 1000 RMS and would be a nice match with the Alpine amp.

If the Rainbow SLC's are rated at peak power = 150 watt and the power rating = 100 watt then which amp is better to get for them? The Alpine PDX 4.100 or 4.150?

Subwoofer for Subwoofer (matched with the proper wattage), do you guys like the Fi.Q or IDQ better, and how are they different?

Can someone also tell me what this means:

**System has to be used with an 80 Hz (12 dB/Oct.) high pass!

i think an idmax would be a better comparision to the q. and 1000w would be to much for a single idq, but would be perfect for a pair.

You're right the IDQ is only 500 or 600 watt rms I believe.

Why do you say IDMax is abetter comparison than the IDQ? Whats the difference between the 2?

I would go with Fi sub. I have a pdx1.1000 with an Alpine swx- 1043d and hits hard. Had an ID max and was not the same(overrated and pricey). I am thinking about getting the same Fi sub you are.Or a Hertz mille. My cuz has 1 Fi 12" and it sounds good, hooked to a jbl bpx2200(alot of watts). Go with the Fi.

I am running a pdx 1.1000 and 2 boston acoustic g5's with the Passive radiators. I would put the g's is the same sentence with any of those subs, The 2 bostons and the radiators are in a cube sealed and get super loud and have the best sq I have heard to date. I have had an idmax, diamond d9, Arc Audio flatline, T3 TSS, and the boston's out perform all.
