yea. i have been wanting to try fi. but after doing reaserch i found out about sondsplinter.
I am not sure what their current status is with the tc sounds snafu, but I've ran soundsplinters 8's, 12's, and 18's and I've dug them all. Mike at SS is a great dood to work with as well.

Either one would be a great choice. I had a hard time deciding between my 2 15" SSDs and a 18" RL-P.
Both are great subs that can get loud and sound good.
how do the ssd's sound. i was worried about getting fi;s lowest end instead of saving to get the q. but im trying to stay in budget.

I would have to guess that the RL-p would be louder and have better SQ, just a higher end sub, now the Q would probably beat the RL-p in both areas though.

The SSD's sound fine..there's nothing wrong with them. It's just easier on the wallet...

Out of all the subs I could run, i've got a single SSD 12 sealed in the daily driver with the copper coil...

Glad they stepped up and replaced it! I honestly would have thought it was super petty if they didn’t just swap it out for you still being under...
