[QUOTE="NFrazier, post: 8435399, member: 571239"] Now for those not familiar with this vehicle it uses a MOST fiber optic network to transmit the audio signal through the vehicle. Instead of catching the signal AFTER the factory amplifier, summing the channels, de-equalizing it, etc. etc., we used the DMI to take the MOST signal and convert it into a TOSLINK optical output. The TOSLINK optical lead went straight into the Bit Ten D processor and from there was transmitted into the amplifier. The amplifier the client chose was the Audison Voce 5.1K with the adapter to use what's called AC and AD link. It's a digital communication between the processor and the amplifier, no RCAs. We created a piece that sits over the amplifier but can still be removed and the factory floor operates like normal. It can be lifted up and secured while accessing the spare. All the wiring remains in place. The trunk pieces were finished in a black carpet to match the trunk and the inserts were done in a high-gloss black to match the vehicle itself.
