53 ratrod porject

rat rod should be at least slammed, most are chopped channeled, you are building a budget rod, but still awesomer none the less, love that era fords. do steel wheels with wide whites, itll look hot.

I say don't paint it at all leave the body how its, your company logo or letters on the doors

you said you would put the logo on and have it faded well, I think it will look better on the cab the way it is instead of on a fresh coat of paint.

When we bought it it allready had 15" wide tires on the back so were going with something about the same size..should look dam good

We got new brakes and put them on, got steel brake lines and have put the back ones on so far. Finished painting the back half of the frame. Took out the engine and cleaning the frame under it for paint then installing a 306 with about 300-350 hp. Heres some pics so far...and we bought new cab corners

Started dropping the engine in today... had to cut the crossmember that held it in because the oil pan would hit it and didnt feel like changing the oil pump and pan and all that. So we got to weld a new one together and were going to add some supports. Couple pics of it on the trans sitting in the bay.

had to cut out the crossmember where the engine sits because of the oil pan so we made a new crossmember and put it on. Now the motor is sitting it. Started welding up all the holes on the firewall besides the ones we need. Still have to be ground down. Heres some pics of what we did today.
