****! :(

MAF would shut the entire car down like that?
Yes. Tyota actually had a recall on some of the older models. But his model is known for the maf causing the car to hesitate, stop running, and have problems starting. They say it will start right back up once it stalls. I am not sure thats his problem, but it couldn't hurt to clean the maf anyways

Cool where is my cookie?

The MAF problem causes the car to stall out but not the dash lights to turn off, that is why I felt it was a main ground issue.

Glad you got it fixed.

Hint : America stopped making tough cars in the early 90s, another hint, fwd garbage does not count as american. The jap fwd **** owns american fwd
true dat! exact reason i drive a 88 chevy (rwd w/ 280k miles no problems!), and a 95 civic (fwd). best of both worlds....

I think I will keep my 97 Honda Accord Sh1tbox with its 100hp 4 cyl and 32 mpg

I do respect your decision to support America.

Meh, 84 crown vic more reliable, comfortable, and only gets 5 mpg less than shitbox honda, also safer in crash //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The poncho will be painted eventually, in the meantime im enjoying the "dude how the **** did that piece of **** pull away from us that fast?" looks when i line up with people lol

I think i got a serious problem with my car. i was driving yesterday and suddenly the car turns off, all the lights on the dash bar goes off, the car starts to slow down and then suddenly it turns back automatically on and keep driving like nothing happened. it happened a couple of times yesterday and once this morning. does anyone know anything about this problem? all the connection at the battery terminals are very tight, nothing loose. Toyota Yaris 2007 ..
i had this problem. it was my TINY 10ga or whatever size it is stock alt power wire, it got wore out and started coming apart. so i changed it to 4gauge. never had a problem after that....... of course i changed it again when i did my big 3
