Hi everyone...newbie here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Was looking for a old school forum & maybe landed in the wrong field but does anyone here know anything about this unit? All I know is it is 18 watts per channel x 2, has a crossover and phase adjust. Just handed to me NIB...not too exciting spec wise but I do like Alpine so it sparked my interest as well as asking on line and no one seems to have even heard of it. Who can unwrap the mystery of this unit for me?

Thanks in advance,

John

Hi, John.

are you asking if it's something you should use? does it have the DIN plugs in back? if so, you won't want to use it without the era-matching equipment. best to put it up on eBay and buy something nice with the money you get. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

maybe you can contact the member with the manuals listed in this thread.

Hi guy. Yes it has the din plugs. I plan using a 7582 cassette receiver ( also discontinued ) as it was in a car I had and worked perfectly. The Toshiba that came in my F150 died so I thought to swap it out for this Alpine. Sound quality isn't critical in this truck...more to get away from commercials from FM and station fading while on the road. I thought it might benice though to add a little more bottom than the head unit will go. Would I have a option to go din / rca combo cables?
