with the low pass filter set at 80hz flat, you're not getting any filter. there needs to be some slope. use the 6db/octave slope if you want it to be really shallow. also, you would more than likely want to adjust the high as well because that's for your front speakers. when set for front/rear/sub, the front is high, rear is mid, and sub is low. as far as graphic eq vs. parametric eq, that's completely up to you. if you feel like messing around, you can use the parametric eq. the graphic eq is a little easier to use because you only have level controls, no frequency controls. you can also be lazy and use the factory presets. they actually do a pretty decent job, especially if you're pretty new to car audio.
