Alright car audio gurus. I seriously need some help.

I got a new box today and put my subs in.

Now, my amp won't come out of protect for anything.

No wiring was touched except for speaker wires.

I can't figure it out.

Any ideas?

Positive bro...

I even took all the speaker wires off my amp.

Only Ground, Battery, and Remote.

It stays in protect.

Try running a wire going from the positive terminal on the amp, to the ground, this will help regulate the voltage going into the amp and pull it out of protect...

sounds like the amp is toast

It was working then after about the 15 minutes it took me to get my subs in my new box it just quit?

Even if my subs were wired wrong would it have smoked my amp?

No, but its best to remove the fuses and place a wire connecting the two points where the fuse was, when regulating the voltage, some fluctuations might blow the fuse, and it will save you an extra $7 in having to go buy some more. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

So run a wire from positive to the ground, and then one from where to where the 2 fuses are?

take the amp out and take the cover off and snap some pics and post them here, mabie we can see if it let the "smoke" out or not.
