Hey everyone,

I recently changed out my front comps and now I have alternator whine....here's the really baffling thing...I had NONE before the changeout.

I kept all the existing wiring except for new connectors on the ends of the new tweeter wires, so switching out the drivers and xovers is the only change introduced into the system.

I ran a forum search, but most of the posts are related to improper grounding and the like.

What were the old crossovers and what are the new crossovers? It sounds to me as though that you always had the whine you just couldn't hear it with the old crossovers. The new crossovers may now be letting that frequency through to your tweets and you are now hearing it.
