Amp cuts out at high volume

Just put in 2 12" Kicker Comps and a Pioneer 760W amp and the amp is powering off at high volume. I have the $25 wiring kit from WalMart, so that might be the problem, but I would like some input. Here is how it is wired up:

When the bass hits my headlights dim also.

EDIT: one more question, I have a Dual head unit and the sub outputs don't do anything, so I have the amp plugged into the rear speakers, is this a problem?

 
You can run the amp bridged like you have it aslong as the amp is capable of running at 2ohm bridged. Yes you would likely make more power bridged at 2ohm verse 4 ohm x 2 stereo. You should of bought 2ohm subs.

It would also be easy to add an equalizer to have individual rca inputs for all of the channels. A decent one can be had for less than $40...
