Amp for Polk DB 1222

I have Polk-Audio-db1222 subwoofers and a Crunch-PZT1100.2 amp. Will this amp power the subs or do I need to upgrade? If this amp won't work what's recommended? I purchased the subs off a freind for $100 and the amp locally and can return the amp easily if it's not the right equipment. I'm hoping not to spend a ton of money on the amp but will spend the $$$$'s if necessary to support the subs the right way. Please help. Thanks.

You have a blown cap in the amp more than likely. Had the same thing happen to a soundstream amp.

No need to bypass the amp. Most use an LOC that takes the full amped signal and turns it into a flat RCA level signal. Here is the newest I have...
