Hi, I'm curious as to where to set the "Low Pass x-over" and "Subsonic x-over" levels on my Kicker DX1000.1, I'm running two 12 inch Rockford Fosgate p3's in a vented box. Previously I had one 12 inch Rockford Fosgate p2 and the amp is currently set for that, sorry if it's a noob question or in the wrong section this is my first time posting on this site, thanks in advance to anyone that might be able to help.

Low pass should be ~80-100hz, and subsonic should be ~3-5hz below enclosure tuning. What is the range of the subsonic filter on that amp?

I'm not sure about the enclosure how exactly do i find out?
Ask the person that you purchased it from, or post all of the dimensions so we can tell you. I'm going to assume that it is a prefab and probably tuned ~40hz, so set your SSF to 30 to be safe. Before you purchase something car audio related again ask here, you probably could have gotten much better equipment for the money or at least a nice custom enclosure.

Ok thanks alot! I got a pretty good deal I only paid 45 bucks for a brand new dual vented 12 inch box so I don't think it's that bad lol
Just remember that all enclosures are not equal, and a good enclosure is more important than the subs.

It would also be easy to add an equalizer to have individual rca inputs for all of the channels. A decent one can be had for less than $40...

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
