Amp/Subwoofers Matching Question

Hello,

I have a Rockford Fosgate 1051S Power Amp (1050 watt 2 channel) and am currently looking for a pair of 12' subwoofers. Previously, I was running 2 RF Punch HX2 12's with this amp, but because of a buddy who wired my subs wrong a few years back, one of the subs blew. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on what subs I should by to get the most out of this amp.

Idk, 12 foot subs are hard to come by...

There are soooo many subs out there, u want something good, find some that have specs that meet your needs, then throw it up here and see what folks say about them, just be sure to stick with something thats name brand, ie not those kind u find on ebay for like 10 bucks each lol.

Thanks for the reply. The more I research, the more I think the newer model of the Punch HX2's might actually fit perfectly. Each sub runs 500 watts RMS or 1000 watts max. The 1051s is a 1050 watt amp. I was looking at some 750 RMS subs but I think they might be too much. What do you think?

I'm interested in the RF T1000's. I have also been hearing good things about the RF P3's. The T1's are a little more powerful so I think they might be the good choice...any thoughts?
