hes saying 4 12in kicker cvr's on a power acostik bamf 5500 would be louder then 4 15in kicker comps on the same power acostick 5500....which do you guys belive I say cone area for the 15's......hes cheap and hes doing a budget system 330$ for either 4 12in kicker cvr's or 4 15in kicker comps and this is how this arguement came to be lol

Either way it's going to suck. lol

If the comps can handle the power, I'd go with them. You get near as makes no difference double the cone area, which, ceteris paribus, should be about 3db louder.

tell your friend to not buy garbage entry level subs and amps, when he can have quality subs for the same prices.

not if they're kickers, set him up with two DCON 12's on an AQ750 and he'll be happy.

If he's asking for your advice and doesn't want to listen, argue for a while, but if he doesn't want to believe you, just don't worry about it anymore. That way when his system *****, it won't be your fault.
