Hey Guys, Just starting my new Summer Build, taking out the Wall from this thread... Bamaboy's 04 Explorer Build 4 15s Wall...RF / Hertz

Pulling out the 4 15s, putting in 4 12s in a smaller box, Vehicle is my 04 Explorer

Setup will consist of

Kenwood DDX812

Rockford 3Sixty.2

RF T6004

RF T4002

RF T40001bd

4x DC Audio LVL 4 12s

Hertz MLK2 running Active

Got them in this morning, Just had a chance to open them

4x DC Audio LVL 4 12" D2, Red dustcaps, Thanks Rusty, Cant wait to get these hooked up, Subs got here with no problems and look excellent

This is the first time ive messed with 12s in my vehicle in probably 4 years, wanted to go back with something smaller than 18s and such

Yeah, that looks like a pretty mean setup you have(had). How did it sound? Would you recommend the T215s?

had 1 vid somewhere, maybe on youtube

only time i ever really messed with it on the meter was when they were first put in, never did tones, just playing around with music, i could do right at a 151, never tested them after they broke in, i just didnt have enough power to do them justice

i could work something out on the wall, need to get rid of it, i still have all the trim pieces here at the house, if you truck isnt gray inside, you can revinyl it to which ever color or leave it gray

yea, i really like the red in person, i didnt want to spend alot on subs when i changed up, but i got a good deal on the 4 so i went ahead and did the system i wanted to do instead of settling for something less, should sound awesome

i know, actually im stepping down so im headed in the right direction i guess:crap:

subs are pretty heavy too, ~35lbs each, ive had alot heavier subs, but for what they are, they're some beefy mothers

think im going to be doing 1 subs in there for just a hold over, havnt decided yet

this gonna be the parts and such, still T40001

what ever i decide to do, sub box is gonna be more than just regular charcoal carpet, still trying to think what i can do that will make it stand apart, think i have an idea, ill do it on paint or sketchup sometime tomorrow, using thick plexi, red LED's, making inside looking nice, red/white paint, DC Logo, still deciding

box is gonna be 7-8cuft, tuning probably 33-34hz, 2 6" Aero ports

I didnt realize Rockford made beefy subs like that....

Cant wait for the new setup
