Best Amp to Use - ARC vs. JL vs. ID - Help

As much as I would love to see more people use Arc...

The JL's are the better option.

Depending on the deal i can get i will either be running those jl hd amps or the id amps.

If I go with option 2, does the sub (IDQ1v3D4) need 500w or should I give it 300w (like the JL 300/2)?

It's a matter of personal opinion.

I prefer to have the extra power available, if nothing else... headroom.
