I build boxes and I'm pretty local. Pm me if you're interested.Where can I get the best quality sub box JL Audio 10" W6v3-D4 subwoofer? Also is the a sub box for dual 10W6v3-D4 subwoofers. You prompt replies will be appreciated.
those JL boxes aren't actually the best sounding it can get. Its geared towards the consumer that wants to save room and have a "little" bass, you'll never get the full potential out of the subs with those prebuilt boxes. A properly design and build ported enclosure with enough airspace will make those b*tches sing!Tell me, could you build a enclosure for 2 JL W6v3-D4 subs. I was checking out the CS210OG-W6v3 which is a JL enclosure with 2 W6 subs in it. and I'm intrigued by it. I was thinking of getting the same thing but for a lot less money. What are you thoughts on that. Could you build some like that and with the factory dimensions recommended by JL Audio?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Here is link to the product i'm describing. http://www.jlaudio.com/cs210og-W6v3-car-audio-prowedge-subwoofer-systems-93308
That box actually does have two subs in it, its a sealed enclosure firing front and back. Horribly inefficient design with too little airspace and with the front and back fire like that, is a recipe for cancellation disaster. No doubt subs are choked out, basically just for looks. That box says dual...meaning it's a dual voice coil sub, not 2 10" subs in it. I sent my # on the other pm if you want to see my work and we can see what kind of room you have for 2 10"
Yeah I'd say that's a lame design. Thanks man.those JL boxes aren't actually the best sounding it can get.
