Painted them two years ago with the Autozone brush on kit...which held up for about a year, then started to chip off, fade, and just look like ****.
So I decided to actually take the calipers OFF to paint them this time, using DupliColor hi-temp engine spray paint.
I don't have much else going on, figured what the hell. The car is a 2001 Accord.
Here is a before shot, of the wheel with the old caliper on there. You can barely tell if it's painted, if at all.
And here is a shot of me strippin the old paint off, using a wire brush and some brake cleaner along with some brake fluid (GREAT for stripping paint).
And here are a few shots of the finished product, on the car, but without the wheel on. The other side is drying right now. I'll post pics of the finished product later this evening.
