The C2 Audio 10" Threatcon-2 woofer is in the works. We are working a few bugs out and it will be ready very soon. We expect this item to be available in Sept. Estomated Retail will be $109. This woofer uses a 2.5" Coil on Black Former, Dual Nomex Spiders, 400 Watts RMS and Available in Both Dual 2 and Dual 4 Ohm. TS Parameters are below:

I am excited to expand. Originally, I wasn't expecting the demand for 10"s that I received. I'm looking forward to meeting the needs of those requesting the 10" Threatcon 2!

Pretty sure they will be close in price to the 12's when they came out. Chris is still finalizing pricing. I'm sure he'll have a pre-sale in the next month.

I haven't heard anything further. Chris has been making final adjustments to the 10" prototype because he wants to get as much out of it as possible before he lets it loose. As soon as I hear anything I'll post. Unless Chris beats me to it on here!

I would assume that they will be like the 12" Threatcon 2 which is a good mix of both SPL/SQ.

Why aren't you staying with the 3" coil on the 10s?

The same style basket for a 10" woofer won't give me the output I want when using a 3" coil. This is because the spider area is smaller due to the larger coil and the travel is hindered by the smaller spider area. By going with the 2.5 inch coil I've gained some spider area and gotten the travel and output that I want from the Threatcon 2 10" woofer.
