cant decide how much power for 9515g dd

Yes the Sundowns can run daily at .5 ohm. I have also ran a 9515G at 1 ohm on a Sundown 3000D and it took it fine.

What kind of box did u have?

3.5 cubes tuned to 32hz. Not optimal at all for the sub but it got by. If I redid the box I would cut down the port area and tune in the mid to upper 30s.

BigJoker runs an AQ3500 on each of his DD's in a daily set up. Seem to take the power just fine and don't get stinky...

id say a solid 3k in 4.25 tuned to 34 with 60in^2 of port area will do nicely.. id advise you upgrade your alt and get AT LEAST 2/0 to do the big 3 along with 2 HC2400s or similar before you try to do 3kw..
