I have a MTX thunder 12" 9500, 4ohm dual voice coil, and a MTX thunder 1501d amp, and a swx 1 farad capacitor (20VDC) that was never used... Should I have 2 capacitors, one for each voice coil? It recommends using 4 awg for the capacitor, but my amp recommends 1/0 awg...It says I need a resistor to charge and discharge the capacitor, but I never received one, is there any other way to charge it, or what type resistor do I need? Where do I put the capacitor in the power line, I know near the amp, but do I cut the line going to the amp and put it in there or do I put a distribution box in the line and have the capacitor coming off the T? .... Thank you for your help, you guys know what your talking about //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Ok, I read up a little on the big 3, and it makes seance...I know on my Tiburon, the power wire going to my alternator is small...This sounds like an inexpensive way. So if I do this, I do not need a cap right?
