componets alpine vs. premeir

i want to buy a 6.5 component set it is either between the pioneer premeir ts-c604 nickle plated or the alpine typeR Alpine SPR-176A both are about the same price any suggestions.

agreed, the only alpines worth looking into are the flagships...if you can cough up the 1000.00 bucks for em....

well im going to go against the flow here and say i absolutly loved the type r's.....my suggestion would be to actually go listen to each of them and decide for your self tho.....our listening taste's may vary greatly from yours......
