theres a guy where i live. he has two T3 18's, 2 sundowns 1500ds, 7 batteries, 500 ho alt and a concrete wall in his car. It bagged because of all the weight. I wouldn't think he would necessarily need a concrete wall in it. does anyone here have one? and how in the hell do you build them?

I'm no expert but that sounds pretty stupid.
you sound pretty stupid when you clearly have no clue of what you're talking about.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Doesn't sound very safe. I can just imagine that wall becoming a slew or heavy, sharp projectiles in a crash event from any angle.

Probably different for a competition vehicle that isn't a daily driver.

well thats the only car he has i believe. he wouldn't crank it up when we say him. wish i coulda heard it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Well we use better methods nowadays but concrete has been a long accepted method.

You build your wall or box out of wood, then fill the sides between the box and car's inner side wall up with concrete. Then you make holes in your ceiling above the box, and fill up to the top with concrete then reseal the holes.

It helps alot to have the strength and weight there.

But over time concrete cracks and vibration can make it turn to dust a little.

So nowadays we use a mixture of resin and sand, its alot more dense and is pretty much permanent. There arent many saw blades that can cut through resin and sand.

Really? A concrete wall in a daily driver vehicle.... that doesn't sound stupid to you? The guy even has to bag his car just to handle the sheer weight of it. Forget what it does to the added strain on the vehicle's other mechanics.

I don't need to be a car audio expert to determine that It's stupid.

To each their own.

hes an idiot

id love to hear what kind of milage he gets

Ive done a concrete wall in a Ford Ranger xcab as pictured below. It was ugly, and it only had two Alphasonik 15's in it and a Fusion 4000 and it posted the scores you see below.
