correct fuse size

what size fuse should i use for my amp? it running at 1200watts, the amp has two 70 amp fuses.

you fuse to protect the wire but also you use the wire that can handle the power needs of your amp

i have 1/0 gauge wire, i am getting a better kit from KnuKonceptz and need to know what size fuse to order, is a 300amp fuse to high?

If it's their OFC wire, 300A is fine.

i'm using a 150a for my amp thats 120a..I've been fine.

Just pick something between 150 and 300.

300 is fine the amp protects itself and this big of a fuse will leave room for upgrades
