yeah but theyre not in this pricerange at least i dont think so. and i rather go through the actual company. do u no how much the nightshade is coming from sundown

They are in the price range.. Basically the same price, and cheaper than the XL's I believe.

Woofercooker is good ****, how do you think he gets all his Sundown equipment? (Hint, Jacob sends them to him..)

Honestly man, just flip a coin. Like I mention earlier, both are great subs from great companies.

Im a little more toward DC because its what im running now and will be in my next build.

I disagree, from personal testing I noticed NO difference from 38hz to 33.5hz TO THE EAR. Both had great range, but 38hz did buzz my ears a little more in the upper frequencies.

The low are great with my setup.. Drive up to IL and you can hear it.

Really? Thats interesting my friend. Im just curious why my friends 10s dropped off after like 50hz or soo? Could be something with the install, crossover points, who knows.

dc4 is more geared toward SQ than the hdc3.

hdc3 will be louder, but the dc4 will sound better.

I'm not saying dc4 is an sq sub, but its more sq than the hdc3.

my four 18s are tuned to 36hz and my vehicle peaks at 31hz. u dnt need to tune low for them to get low

ok, im getting closer. so, im better off getting a hdc3 with aluminum coils? but then thats when the xl comes in. the hdc3 w/alum is the same price as the xl... and by 2k u mean rms right?

Man. I'm suppose to get two DC lvl 4's for my 2400 watts rms strapped amps but I'm tempted to just get DC LVL 4 XL's for when I decide to get rid of my amps to get louder. But in a 3 cF box, would DC LVL 4 xl's not perform as great vs DC LVL 4's?
