Did a little customization ......

So I wanted to see how the Duplicolor Mirage paint would look on my Type RF amps , I used purple too green , came out pretty sweet . Here is a couple of pics , though my camera is pretty crappy ......

Gonna do a fiberglass sub box and use it on there too .....

What do you guys think ?

its cuz they change colors depending on the way you look at them.,,, i think they use it on cars but thats sweeet

Yeah , I know its been done before . But what hasnt ? LOL Yeah it was from the can (I wish I had a compressor and a gun:crap: !), the pics really dont do it justice though , it REALLY pops in the sun .....

I do think these amps look 100% better when colored though , the silver and gun metal colors were ok but were too light for the interior of my car ....

Thanks to Matt281 for selling me the second paintable shroud , was having a hard time finding one ....

its going to be in your vehicle, sun is pretty useless to your amp...it looks good but I like it better on cars.....

loooks nice... how much did that paint set you back?

It was $18.00 a set , comes with a black base coat , color coat , and clear coat , all 8 ounce cans . Plus I used Duplicolors adhesion promoter (its like a clear primer) so total it cost me $40.00 to do both amps .
