Earthquake Subzero-12 vs. JL Audio 12w7-3

Quick dilemma.. Got 1 Earthquake Subzero-12 installed, while one is at Earthquake waiting to be serviced (190$ for new voice coil). Powered by 1 Orion 1200D Amp, soon to be 2. Found a JL Audio 12w7-3 at a local Pawn shop for 125$ out the door, tested. Any suggestions on what I should do.. moneys somewhat tight, having 1 Earthquake and 1 JL is mismatched, but thats an unbeatable deal.

125.........do they know what that sub is? The real question, assuming somehow that it really is a 12w7 for 125, is why are you still not the owner of that sub? Use it, sell it, doesn't matter. Regardless, it should be in your possession ESPECIALLY if you're tight on money right now.

i doubt a pawn shop would sell a w7 for 125. The JL w3's they have are like 110. I haven't been to the pawn for about a year, but i'm sure it's not a w7.

got a quick question regarding setup/installation: i have my isolator hooked up to my slave battery in the back. i tried to power it up by the remote wire of the receiver but doesnt get enough output to turn on. where is the best place to put the remote wire for the isolator?

its not a matter of buying a earthquake.. i already have 2. i am debating on where to sell the jl or the 2 earthquake to get either a Orion 2500D, Hifonics Brutus BXI-2008D, or a JL 1000/1 amp to push either setup. what do you all think?

Buy and sell the JL. If nothing else you could at least double your money since you're low on cash. 2 of the earthquakes have to be louder than the one w7, and besides it will take you a heck of a lot longer to get rid of the 2 rather than the one w7. Heck I'll buy it for the right price.

It just so happins I 2 am lucky. I had a friend of mine just give me 2 JL Audio 12 W7-3's they are about 2-3 yrs old and only 1 was only used for 4 months on a 500 watt amp . 1 of them is brand new in the OG box the other is in an W7 purpose ported box made by JL Audio. I am looking 2 sell the brand new 1 mounted in the box for a great deal I think for $325 + $50-75 for shipping.
